Tampa Bay put the boot to Miami in their most recent game as they shrugged off a sluggish performance against New England in Tom Brady’s homecoming last week. The Buccaneers improved to 4-1 on the season and hold a one-game lead over the Saints and Panthers in the NFC South race. Against Miami, Tampa Bay trailed 10-7 after the opening quarter before scoring 17 unanswered points in the second quarter to lead by 14 at the half. The Buccaneers saw the lead trimmed to seven after three quarters but scored three touchdowns in the opening 6:03 of the fourth quarter to turn the game into a hammering.
