Boxing Fury vs Whyte Battle Of The Brits 23rd April, Betting Picks and Preview

Fury vs Whyte Who Wins

Dillian Whyte finally gets his crack at the WBC heavyweight title on April 23 against champion Tyson Fury. After two consecutive boxing contests against Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury has a new adversary in Dillian Whyte. It’s an all U.K affair as the two British heavyweights take to Wembley in-front of 94.000 record crowd.

This is Fury’s (31-0-1, 22 KOs)  second reign as heavyweight champion. He won the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO titles from Wladimir Klitschko in 2015 by decision but never defended his titles. Fury slipped into a deep two-year depression but emerged to take the heavyweight division by storm.

Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs) is the WBC interim champion but has been waiting for a shot at the full title for years. His top spot was briefly lost after Alexander Povetkin knocked him out in round 5 in 2020. He gained revenge by stopping Povetkin in 2021 in round 4.

Our Predictions:

Fury Win Via KO @4/6

Tyson Fury In Rounds 1-3 @8/1

The 6-foot-9 Fury has a 4-inch height advantage and a 6-inch reach edge over Whyte. Whyte relies on his jab to set up his offense. He’s going to have a hard time getting inside of Fury’s potent jab.

Undercard News:

Brother of Tyson Fury, Tommy Fury (7-0, 4 KOs) continues his light heavyweight run against Daniel Bocianski (10-1, 2 KOs) of Poland. The scheduled for six rounds bout is set to kick-off the action live on PPV.

The bout is scheduled for ten rounds with a vacant WBO International title on the line.

In a ten-round supporting fight Isaac Lowe (23-1-3, 6 KOs) takes on undefeated Nick Ball (14-0, 7 KOs) of Liverpool. The pair battles it out for a vacant WBC Silver featherweight title with the winner expected to enter the WBC world rankings.
