Sergio Perez is already preparing for the next GP, which will be held in his native Mexico between November 5th and 7th at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. The Red Bull driver is going through his best form since he joined the Formula 1 team and he is aiming to finish third position in the 2021 driver standings.
Despite Verstappen starting in pole at the US GP, Hamilton started off better and took the lead from the Dutch driver, while Sergio Perez held the third position.
However, after both drivers pitted, Verstappen gained a six-second lead and didn’t lose the first place until the end of the race, finishing 1.3 seconds ahead of the Mercedes.

The Mexican GP made its way onto the racing calendar in 2015, and there were certainly questions over the fame of F1 around Mexico, which might lead to a lack of attendance level, potentially causing financial constrictions. And as expected, Mexico City did announce its withdrawal from the calendar following the 2019 season.
However, then arrived the shocker! Mexico witnessed a personal best attendance at the 2019 Mexican Grand Prix weekend. Apparently, the race weekend had 345,694 spectators attend the event, which came weeks after the British Grand Prix witnessed a total of 351,000 spectators.
Then came the announcement that the Mexico City GP would remain on the calendar until at least 2022, so lets enjoy this historic race.
