Juventus vs Barcelona, 8:00pm

Prediction:

Barcelona Win BTTS @10/3

Preview:

Arguably the standout fixture of the 2020-21 Champions League group stage takes place in Turin on Wednesday night as Juventus host Barcelona in a repeat of the 2015 final.

Coronavirus has denied fans a much-anticipated reunion between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, but it will still be a star studded occasion between two clubs with legendary figures as their new managers, both looking to make their mark.

Both Juventus and Barcelona started their Champions League campaigns with wins, beating Dynamo Kyiv and Ferencvaros respectively.

For Juventus it was a hard-fought 2-0 win while Barcelona cruised past the Champions League newcomers with a 5-1 victory. But neither side enjoyed their weekend matches, with Juventus having to come from behind to draw 1-1 with Verona and Barcelona losing El Clasico to Real Madrid.

Attention now turns to the Champions League, however, with both Andrea Pirlo and Ronald Koeman looking to show early signs of a capability to win the competition.

Manchester United vs RB Leipzig, 8:00pm

Prediction:

Man Utd Win BTTS @3/1

Preview:

Manchester United will be looking to make it two wins out of two in the Champions League when they welcome Bundesliga powerhouses RB Leipzig to Old Trafford for Wednesday’s mouth-watering clash.

Similarly, the visitors also head into the match looking to maintain their 100% start following a 2-0 victory over Istanbul Basaksehir last week.

United go into the match on the back of a disappointing 0-0 draw against Chelsea whilst the visitors ran out 2-1 winners over Hertha Berlin at the weekend.

Jesse Lingard, Eric Bailly and Phil Jones all remain out injured for United however Edinson Cavani could be in line to make his first start for Man Utd since signing on deadline day.

Saturday’s stalemate against Chelsea at Old Trafford was a disappointing result for United and whilst a draw on Saturday was not the worst result in the world it was the lacklustre performance which was most disappointing and frustrating and in facing RB Leipzig it presents United and Solskjaer a perfect opportunity to bounce back.

Currently sitting top of the Bundesliga, RB Leipzig have endured a fantastic start to the new campaign and with Emil Forsberg, Marcel Sabitzer and now Justin Kluivert on board United will have to be at their very best should they wish to take all three points.
