Sheffield Utd vs Manchester City, 12.30pm

Bramall Lane will host Saturday’s early start in the Premier League with Sheffield United welcoming Manchester City for what is a hugely important game for both teams.

The Blades have only picked up one point from their six league games this season to sit 19th in the table, while City are down in 13th with eight points to show from their opening five matches of the season.

There is no getting away from the fact that it has been a desperately disappointing start to the season for Sheffield United, with just one point from six matches leaving them in 19th position.

The Blades lost their first four league games of the campaign against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Aston Villa, Leeds United and Arsenal before picking up a point at home to Fulham on October 18.

City, meanwhile, are yet to really ignite their Premier League season and currently sit 13th in the table with eight points to show from their opening five matches.

Pep Guardiola’s side have beaten Wolverhampton Wanderers and Arsenal in the league this season, but they lost heavily at home to Leicester City at the end of September, while both Leeds United and West Ham United have taken points off the former champions during the month of October.

Prediction:

Man City Win BTTS @6/4

Burnley vs Chelsea, 3.00pm

Burnley will push to win their first Premier League game of the season at the sixth attempt when they host Chelsea at Turf Moor for Saturday’s fixture.

The Blues do not have much to boast about domestically either, but Frank Lampard’s men eased to a 4-0 victory over FC Krasnodar in the Champions League on Wednesday.

With an out-of-form Burnley welcoming Chelsea to the North West on Halloween, the Clarets will be hoping to avoid another horror show following a truly dismal set of results so far.

Sean Dyche’s defensive stalwarts have forged a reputation as one of the most difficult backlines to break down in recent times, but the Clarets have already shipped nine goals in the league this season and sit on just one point after four losses and a draw.

Chelsea’s dominant victory in Europe means that Lampard’s men are enjoying a five game unbeaten run in all competitions, although the Blues boast just one win from their last five Premier League outings following back-to-back draws against Southampton and Manchester United in October

Prediction:

Over 2.5 Match Goals @4/6

Liverpool vs West Ham Utd, 5.30pm

The Reds have recovered well from their 7-2 humiliation at the hands of Aston Villa prior to the international break, drawing 2-2 with Merseyside rivals Everton before beating Ajax, Sheffield United and FC Midtjylland in the space of a week.

However, the Hammers are making a habit of upsetting the top sides this season, with David Moyes men taking five points from their last three games against Leicester City (3-0), Tottenham Hotspur (3-3) and Manchester City (1-1), scoring seven goals along the way.

Jurgen Klopp knows he’ll have his work cut out to pile the pressure on and at least temporarily overtake current Premier League leaders Everton. That being said, West Ham have taken just two points from their last eight games with Liverpool, while Moyes’ record against his former Merseyside rivals isn’t good either: five wins, nine draws and 19 defeats in 33 games.

Prediction:

Liverpool To Score 3+ Goals @1/1
