Boxing Canelo Alvarez Vs Avni Yildirim Betting Predictions

Our Pick:

Canelo by KO Rounds 1-3 @ 2.80

Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez enters the ring for his 57th professional fight when he takes on mandatory challenger Avni Yildirim, during that time he has only been beaten once and that was against Floyd Mayweather Jr back in 2013.

Since that defeat against Mayweather, Canelo has won 12 fights and drawn one and during that time he has won The Ring, WBC, WBA and IBF middleweight titles, WBO light middleweight belt, WBA (Super), WBC and The Ring middleweight titles, WBO light heavyweight belt and WBA (Super), WBC and The Ring super middleweight titles.

Everyone wants to step up and face Canelo even though the majority of them have no chance of beating him. The Mexican seems to have it all, he can box smart and comfortably go the distance, or he can demonstrate his punching power and end fights quickly.

Turkish opponent Yildirim is a tough fighter and has only lost two of his 23 fights, but despite being mandatory challenger, we honestly think he will be way out his depth.

We don’t like disrespecting fighters, but if Chris Eubank Jr can get him out of there inside three rounds, then I can’t see Canelo having many problems.

We predict that Canelo will take his time over the opening two or three rounds, before unleashing his power and ending this one before the end of the fourth round.
