  1. Loves Only You saved her best for last because 2021 was definitely the best season of her career…….and by a street. She was on the go the entire year, logging some serious frequent flier miles. Oddly enough, after having raced her previous three seasons (2018, 2019, & 2020) exclusively in Japan, having never raced outside of her home country, she did some travelling in 2021. She only had two runs in Japan in 2021, winning the G2 Kyoto Kinen on her seasonal debut in February, 2021 and she finished 2nd in the G2 Sapporo Kinen in August, 2021. But in-between the two runs in Japan she would travel to Meydan in March, 2021, and on her first start racing at 12F since winning the G1 Japanese Oaks in May, 2019 and only the second start of her career at 12F, Loves Only You ran a screamer in the G1 Dubai Sheema Classic, finishing 3rd in a 3-horse photo a neck behind Chrono Genesis in 2nd who finished a neck behind the winner Mishriff. A month later she would ship to Sha Tin and back down in trip to 10F, Loves Only You won the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup, defeating 2-time G1 Hong Kong Vase winner Glory Vase by 3/4 lengths. After Hong Kong she was given a 4 month break, and after August race in Japan she was then prepared for her trip to Del Mar where she won the G1 Breeders Cup Filly & Mare Turf in November, 2021, and she finished her career with another trip to Sha Tin in December, 2021, where she completed the 10F/international G1 double by winning the G1 Hong Kong Cup after having won the G1 QE II Cup over course & distance there back in April.

  2. No doubt a great horse. But what was number 4 doing. at one point passed them all and then again pulled

  3. She showed the HEART of a True Race Horse. She's got the credentials for Turf Horse of the Year, but, she's a Japanese horse, she won't get any consideration.

  4. Super Girl what a win you truly are a champion🏆long lives (Love Only You)❤ your daddy and grandad will be very proud of you 👏 🥲 🥰 ✌ 💛 The Jokey give a Super ride 💪🏇🙌

  5. Breeders Cup Win followed up with Hong Kong Cup…Both times showed his Big Heart to the Wire!!…This is what Champions do

  6. She's japans best mare of 2021, i hope she gets voted as is in japan, Almond Eye won with full vote in 2020 and i hope Loves only you will get the title.

  7. Wow. That was so much like her win in the BC F&M Turf. She was always well-placed but lacked room in the straight. The ride was very patient, and she is a serious race horse to be able to quicken like that in traffic. Dubai Honor didn't disgrace with his run here.

  8. If you have a friend who doesn't understand why you love horse racing, show them this race, because this is what it's all about!

  9. Marquand was found out again, another journeyman of a jockey, he is alright riding class 5s in Wolverhampton and Kempton on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening.
    Pathetic ride.

  10. Outstanding top class performance nightmare passage last 500 meters ans having to come through 2 horses only true champions have that heart.

  11. What on earth does Jim Bolger not recognise mac swiney does not go on quick ground, he hasn’t since he was a 2 year old and everyone can see that except the man who’s mean to know what he’s doing
