All this talk about football is utter nonsense. Not everyone can win and it doesn't matter who comes in to manage Man UTD, you can't make a silk purse out of a pig's ear.

Despite the result, the feeling in these game is that City destroyed completely United and United had the worst offensive stats in a home game since the media stats began in the 90s. Unbelievable only de gea saved them to end this game even worse in result than the Liverpool's game. So proud of my City team one of the best performances in a derby I've ever seen

I'm not a Manchester United supporter and have to admit I got a bit weary of the almost endless success under Alex Ferguson. BUT Manchester United are part of the great tradition of English (and British) football. This team could be any old team. There is nothing to mark them out as a team in the Management United tradition. Michael Owen said that at least if they showed some passion, some commitment to a consistent style of play, preferably one with some attacking flair, where ever player knew what his role was, instead of shuffling around every week to try… Read more »

Never have I seen a club so suffocated by it's past acheivements, and I include Liverpool in that. The constant criticism from the old guard of Neville/Keane/Scholes etc only adds to the club as a whole's inability to progress. The expectations set by a team and manager over a decade ago are not equatable to the backwards-looking club United have since become. In every single respect, City and Liverpool make Utd now look a redundant club, a cruel parody of its former self. The only way forward for Man U is to break ties with the past, and accept their… Read more »

As a United fan I get so annoyed with Gary, I use to love his non biased views but now… my days. Someone has to be brave and directly ask him ‘Is Ole good enough for Man Utd? One of if not the biggest club in the world?’ Let’s see how he tip toes around that 😤🙄

Sooner or later your performances start matching your results and the performances have been so poor. It's wrong to say it started with this season because the performances at the back end of last season were diabolical as well. They went into the Europa final on such a poor run of form it was obvious they wouldn't win it. Under Ole's tenure, I can only think of maybe, a dozen games, which we have deserved to win. There were a lot of fluky goals and results in there with a lot of penalties to cover the deficiencies in the team.… Read more »
