As a Chinese I support Zhou and I also really want to see him to well in F1. When he first entered F1, people beat him to the ground and said he'd be one of the worst drivers in years (Imo mostly salty because Piastri didn't get the drive), but I feel like rn people are heading towards the other direction and kind of overhyping him based on only two races of performance. I really wish he doesn't experience the same hate that Yuki Tsunoda had to endure last season.

He's overrated, he's driving possibly the 4th or 5th fastest car and is driving around 15th place, his Jeddah race was horrible. Dont forget he finished P6 in F2 in 2020, behind Mazepin, in 2021 four of those drivers that finished ahead of him didnt participate and he still only finished third on a much weaker field, the Alpha Romeo is making him look better than he is, he's basically Mazepin tier

The bias against Zhou amongst so-called Formula 1 "fans" is disgusting and tiring!! I followed Zhou in F2, and he always looked like he would eventually be in an F1 car. Oscar Piastri was never really up for the Alfa Romeo drive because Alpine would not release him todrive for another team. He is their instant replacement for Fernando Alonso should he retire. To Alpine, Zhou was expendable. Zhou is more mature than Porchaire, and if sponsorship money closed the deal, it's fine with me. Zhou finished 3rd in the F2 championship and led it for a number of weeks.… Read more »

It takes months for some drivers to get their first point. Zhou absolutely killed it getting his first point in his first race, I can expect ZHOU to be one of the greatest rook since Verstappen.

Pay drivers shouldn't get any recognition. The only promise he's shown is the ability to attract sponsors from China. 🙄

He already made a mark. Whatever he does every racing weekend, he will be “the first Chinese F1 driver to…. (drive full time in F1, score points, finish in P1-20, crash, get a podium etc.)” He was literally the first Chinese driver to finish in P11 in Saudi Arabia because no other has. He also contributes to a steady flow of revenue from China.

One of the most underrated drivers on the grid. People say that he doesn’t deserve to be in F1 just because Piastri didn’t get the seat. Of course Oscar is better but in my opinion they both deserve it.
