Super Bowl LVI will be the championship game of the National Football League for the 2021 season. It will be played between the National Football Conference champion Los Angeles Rams and the American Football Conference champion Cincinnati Bengals.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Los Angeles Rams, 11.30pm GMT

The finale is between two teams who are meeting for the first time in the Super Bowl. The Rams are making their fifth post-merger Super Bowl appearance, while the Bengals return to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 1980s and Boomer Esiason-led teams.

The Bengals went 10-7 in the regular season, won the AFC North for the first time since 2015 and earned the No. 4 seed in the AFC playoffs. They defeated the Las Vegas Raiders, 26-19, in the opening round for their first postseason win in 31 years, then defeated the Tennessee Titans, 19-16, and Kansas City Chiefs, 27-24, to reach the Super Bowl.
