william mathers

Absolutley none hes been posted missing for seasons Aston villa is probs about his level now tbf

Dudejustchill

it will work.. Countinho is not done yet!!

MN Playz

Are they on weed barca won’t pay a penny . Villa will pay 65% and coutinho would take 35% cut .

Elliot Mac

None. He'll be injured after 2 or 3 games. 🤣

xillusion Gaming

Love this guy absolutely love him to bits what a player not a Liverpool fan btw

Jamie Faulks

you say it hasn’t worked out for him at barca, obviously u have to consider the price tag and wages but in terms of goals and assists he’s contributing 1/3 games which isn’t awful from an attacking midfielder position, if he was played consistently in the right position and was backed he’d do alright like his first season there, he’s played 8 games this season so far in 4 different positions u can’t expect him to get consistency constantly playing everywhere

Chris Clarke

Not celebrating too much just yet, we needed a new defensive midfielder… so as a Villa fan, i'd be happier if the Bissouma rumour turns out to be true vs. getting another luxury forward, we already have enough of those types… granted Coutinho is a different level than the Traore's, El Ghazi etc.

Anthony

Quality signing for villa well done SG for getting him on loan villa not messing about

jordan m

Buzzing to see flex here 💪🏽👏🏽

Tagbo Nwogu

English press, when it goes wrong, these same people will be thesame people throwing him under the boss.

Ian Patrick

A good signing for a club like villa could ever wish for…..but….cant really see him doing as well, his best is behind him, but…its my opinion

John Anderson

Flex in a suit

Quoconut

Are sky forgetting what we done at Bayern omg

Ciaran McCormack

Villa are never going to make this signing permanent just due to his wages. Does anyone really think that villa can afford a player on €300,000 a week? It’s fine now with Barca paying 65% now but villa won’t be picking up that tab

George Dolman

That guy deserves the sack for the terrible ings joke

George Dolman

This had nothing to do with Gerrard. Coutinho just wanted to be around Alisha Lehmann

Jaali Allen

Man like rants uk

Brian Sakala

Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzz Man Like Flex didn't even recognise him without the hoodie and puffer jacket. Well Done Bro

awesome gamer45

As a liverpool fan, im absolutely buzzing to see him back in the prem and next better than liverpool who else but Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa. I know he hasn't trained with villa yet and its too early but imagine his comeback being against man utd 😆

My G flexxxx

Hummers Tattoo

Iam surprised he dont want to go to a bigger club

randomcon123

You lost me at rangers was a huuuuge club. While it’s a club full of history, it isn’t huge… no manager really signs for a club because of the years it has been in existence. Money talks… all managers will want to have pulling power in the transfer market… to make their jobs easier.

One

One short answer: zero impact

Funny how when a player comes to the premier league for the first time from abroad they question whether they’ll be able to adapt to and handle “the best league in the world” but when players like coutinho and hazard who were great in the premier league leave and fail in other leagues they never stop to think that maybe all the top 5 leagues are pretty much equal and the premier league isnt better than them.

Respect to Flex

Temidayo Gbaye

As long as Phil can stay fit and have the desire to let go of the past few seasons, he could use this few months to get to help the team and see how SG wants him to play.

Jamaican Lyricist

Nothing wrong with Coutinho leaving Liverpool when he did. He had given his heart to the club for so long, and at that point he felt the need to go to another big club. He could have never predicted his injury issues and the shambles that Barca was gonna be in. Hopefully he can come back to EPL and be back to his elite brilliance as before.

Red14

he will put the bacon on the bagel

Sany Sany

flex u traded the tracksuit for a turtle neck.haha

Jeff Foster

He was just another pkayer at Barcelona but he s going to be loved at Villa by the fans and respected and admired by the players and that's got to make a difference to anybody , and with Stevie as his manager who was his captain at Liverpool and he knows he,s going to trust him, so I think it will be really good for Villa and Countinho . I'm a Liverpool fan but I don't think we need him , the ball wouldn't be going through him like it used to so It wouldn't work . Good luck lad… Read more »

Dean West

Copped a few ex Liverpool, Houghton, Staunton etc, Saunders huge success, collymore flopped but was unwell, hopefully this boy does the business. Well done villa!

Jim Bob's Sports

I think he's going to make a big change 🤔

GingerBen

Should never of left us Liverpool like Klopp said he would of been a legend. But without him leaving we might not of gotten VVD and Ali so never know what the outcome could of been

Sam ElGebeily

Don’t expect much from Coutinho, I think he’s way past his prime unfortunately

CraftingCameron

It’s only a loan move

robert fletcher

Where are Man United's signings? here we go everyone signing new players while United management sit on their hands and count the pennies. United will have a hard time against Villa when they both meet in the FA Cup. I have a feeling that Villa will pull off a draw, because of the way United are playing at the moment. Hope I am wrong. Teams like Villa, Brentford, Wolves, Arsenal Spurs, Newcastle and West ham will leave United behind and struggling for a place in the Premier League in 2022-23 season if the situation and mess they are in at… Read more »

Glad to see how much Flex has grown from the united stand!

As a liverpool fan I'm happy for Coutinho that he's getting a chance. Villa will work out great for him I think plus he's with Stevie who knows him so well.

Walter bishop

Just as I said yesterday this is a loan signing! If he's a success he'll move on to a bigger club.

Tevin Campbell

Coutinho with bailey problem

Connor Carey

From an LFC fan I hope he does really well at villa he’s a fantastic player

James Jones

Flex on sky wow black privillage

Roberto149

Well done Flex! Even if you don't always agree with him I hope people realise how refreshing it is to see someone who is more of a 'fan' and not some pretentious bloke from the Guardian or Telegraph.
