Our Pick
New Zealand -26.0 @1/1
Featured Match
Australia vs South Africa, 8.05am GMT Saturday 18th September
Another win for the Wallabies could see the Springboks relinquish their top spot on the official World Rugby rankings this weekend.
After last weekend’s 28-26 defeat to Australia, South Africa’s lead over New Zealand at the top was cut to 2.18 rating points.
A repeat of last weekend’s Rugby Championship results in Gold Coast – where New Zealand also beat Argentina 39-0 – would see the All Blacks move past the Springboks to the top of the rankings.
A victory over Argentina by more than 15 points – and a repeat win for Australia over South Africa in Brisbane – would see New Zealand back at the top.
It was a surprising defeat to Australia as they looked strong during The Lions Tour.
Australia earned their first win of the Rugby Championship as they put back-to-back losses to New Zealand behind them by edging world champions South Africa in a thrilling contest last week. Quade Cooper’s penalty secured the victory for the Wallabies and they will be eager to build on that success but the Springboks will be out for revenge. After defeating Argentina in their opening two games, South Africa could not continue their 100% start having failed to hold onto their late lead but they can bounce back at the first time of asking here by getting the better of the hosts.
Our Predictions
South Africa Win by 6-10 Points @5/1
Austrailia +8.0 @1/1
