Chelsea vs Aston Villa, 5.30pm GMT
Chelsea FC are aiming to be one of the main challengers for the Premier League title this season and they head into this weekend’s round of games in fourth place in the table after having taken seven points from their opening three games. They are preparing to welcome an Aston Villa side to Stamford Bridge who have taken four points from their first three games to leave them in 11th place in the Premier League table.
The Blues actually took the lead at Anfield through Kai Havertz and looked in good shape before Reece James was sent off just before the interval; the incident saw Liverpool awarded a penalty, which Mohamed Salah scored, but Thomas Tuchel’s side managed to leave Merseyside with a welcome point.
Villa, meanwhile, opened their 2021-22 Premier League season with a disappointing defeat at newly-promoted Watford, but they managed to put an important three points on the board one week later courtesy of a 2-0 home success over Newcastle United.
But for all of Villas improvement Chelsea is a different beast, Lukaku’s set to make his home debut and we think Chelsea will make easy work at home.
