Wimbledon Day 6 Betting Picks, Tennis Predictions

The Championships, Wimbledon, commonly known simply as Wimbledon or The Championships, is the oldest tennis tournament in the world and is widely regarded as the most prestigious.

Ilya Ivashka vs Jordan Thompson, 11am GMT

After winning his first match at Wimbledon against Casper Ruud, Thompson backed it up with a victory over Kei Nishikori. Ivashka is playing his most impressive brand of aggressive tennis in his career but the gravity of Thompson’s wins will give him plenty of confidence. It will go down to the wire but Thompson will clinch it.

Our Pick: Thompson @5/4

Lorenzo Sonego vs James Duckworth, 11am GMT

This is an intriguing pairing. Sonego plays an all-around game. Duckworth has a slice sharp as scalpel. The Australian is playing the tournament of his life. He managed to stop Querrey with an astounding first serve percentage. He may have caught the American off-guard on a bad day, but nonetheless, his service game could make the difference against a clay-courter like Sonego.

Our Pick: Duckworth @2/1

Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Nick Kyrgios, 2pm GMT

In true Kyrgios fashion, the Australian knocked Ugo Humbert out of the first-round in five sets despite not playing for six months prior. Auger-Aliassime is playing some superb tennis, reaching the final in Stuttgart and beating Federer in Halle, but there’s a chip on Kyrgios’s shoulder–he wants to prove a lot of people wrong so his talent and stubbornness will see him through.

Our Pick: Kyrgios @11/10

Roger Federer vs Cameron Norrie, 2.30pm GMT

Cam Norrie is in the form of his life. He has the third-most wins this year and is turning into a nuisance for most opponents on any surface with his tricky game. If there’s one man built for unpicking a tricky game-style, however, it’s Roger Federer. There’s still rust to be shaken off, but I don’t see Federer dropping more than a set.

Our Pick: Federer 3-1 @3/1

Magda Linette vs Paula Badosa, 11am GMT

Tough match to call but I think that Paula Badosa is starting to show an extra level of quality and leaving that mediocre ranking behind her. It has been impressive that she has transitioned so well from the clay to the grass and the demolition of the talented Putintseva in the last round confirmed that.

Our Pick: Badosa @8/13

Ashleigh Barty vs Katerina Siniakova, 3.30pm GMT

Both Siniakova and Barty possess a ton of variety in their game and are more than comfortable coming forward – they’ve actually already played nine times on the doubles tour, Barty leading that head to head 7-2. Though Siniakova is playing well, I think their first singles match will end in the same result, Barty having one too many weapons for Siniakova to handle, and will take it in two tight sets.

Our Pick: Barty 2-0 @8/13
